The UABCS Loreto campus is home to two competitive volleyball teams — men's and women's — that represent their university and community at the regional collegiate level. For many players, these teams provide their primary access to structured athletics, mentorship, and a sense of belonging.
Friends of Loreto, BCS supports these teams by covering costs that often stand between a student and the ability to compete: league registration fees, team uniforms, and essential equipment. Your donation helps these athletes stay on the court. Our 2026 fundraising goal is $5,000 across both teams — every dollar counts.
Thanks to donor support, both the UABCS Loreto men's and women's teams received brand-new 2026 jerseys and had their league registration fees paid in full — keeping these athletes fully registered and equipped to compete.

As the teams grow, we hope to help fund travel for players to compete in tournaments beyond the region — giving students exposure to higher-level competition and new experiences.
We'd love to bring Mexican volleyball professionals to Loreto to run clinics and training sessions, elevating the program for both men's and women's players.
